Wow, I just finished a very laid back fun wedding. This was a last minute job, but it was so much fun. I'm so happy I decided to do it. There was nothing but love in the air at the ceremony and reception. I wish these two nothing but success, love, and happiness.

Wow, It's been about three weeks since my last post. I've been so busy with Christmas and family portraits. I'm looking forward to the break between Christmas and the new year. This year the business has grown and it's simply amazing. I just know 2007 will be even better. Thank you to all of my clients for having faith in PTP.

Well It's been a busy November. The day before Thanksgiving I had the pleasure of shooting the McCartney family. They were a fun bunch with a terrific sense of humor. I hope all of my large family shoots can go as well.

Yesterday I shot a wedding for a beautiful young couple. The bride's family is like my own extended family, so it was an honor to do this for them. Love is a beautiful gift, and to receive it at such a young age is just a blessing. I look forward to watching their marriage mature. I also look forward to photographing their children (but not TOO soon...lol). Here's one for now.

The storybook album should be up by next Friday. Check back to see it.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of shooting Lila and Kyle's wedding. Even though it was a cold day they were both troopers with the outside shots. They were such a fun bunch and full of personality. I can't wait to proof the photos and get their album up. Check back on Saturday for the rough draft of the album.

WOW, I'm a posting fool tonight huh? Well here are a couple of photos from a wedding I shot in July. Anthony and Darnella were great to shoot. Their wedding was so relaxed and just plain fun. It was well worth the 1.5 hr drive to get there.

Well, it finally happened!! My dear sweet darling husband allowed me to take a photo of him actually smiling (gasp!!). I always tell him that he has such a beautiful smile, but he does the "man thing" and puts on a stone face when the camera is whipped out.

Second Shooter

On September 30th I helped my friend Darnell G. shoot a wedding. I had a great time with this spirited bunch. I've never experienced a wedding quite like this, and that's saying something. I can only hope that I book thousands of more like this one. Congrats Erica and John. Thanks for asking me to help D.

Happy Birthday

I just want to wish my darling husband a happy birthday.

Dressing up for Halloween.

So lately the question I get most is...

"So what is AJ going to be for Halloween?"

I honestly have no clue! He doesn't like things over his face or on his head much, so whatever the costume it will have to wear like clothes. I think I'll just go grab some children's scrubs and make him in into a psyco surgeon or something with fake blood on the outfit. That sounds pretty good now that I see it typed out...lol. What ever I decide, I will definitely post pictures.

October Special

A nice surprise

My husband and I purchased our first home this summer. It feels so different to look out my window or patio door and see grass and flowers instead of cigarette butts and concrete. I took my son outside to play yesterday and we came across this lovely treat in our yard. I want to get more pictures next spring when my yard is in full bloom. Since I don't know anything about gardening this should be an interesting adventure.

Soggy Day

It rained last night or early this morning and today I find my self dragging. DH (dear husband) is at a football game so it's just me and my little boy hanging out today. I think we played with every toy he owns in a matter of 3hrs...lol. We have now moved on to watching dvd's. I'm so happy he loves The Muppet Show, because it's entertaining for him and me.

I hope to get some shots up later from an August wedding. I'm hope to get more portrait work, but for now my customer base is weddings. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE shooting weddings, but I'd like to have a well rounded portfolio.

I just finished an album for Maya & James. Their wedding was so nice. Their wedding location provided us with a beautiful backdrop for their pictures. I'm so proud

Well today my husband showed me his finished book. I'm so proud of him. He is an excellent motivational speaker and I know his first book is just the tip of the iceburg for him. He doesn't have a website just yet, but when it's up and running I'll be sure to post it for you to check out.

If it weren't for him I wouldn't be blogging to you or have my own photography company.
