The lovily Toni

Toni was a bit shy and unsure during our session but as she began to trust me more she simply blossomed.

Be-YOU-tiful!!

Baby Lorenzo {11days old}

OH.MY.GOODNESS!! This little angel was BEYOND perfect. Mom and dad followed the pre-shoot instructions to a T and this little sweetie was out for the count for the whole session. We were able to get through MANY sets and poses and he didn't make a sound. He really was such a good baby, I'd say easily one of the best I've had. Mom and dad should be so proud. Now watch with that bit of praise I probably jinxed them for the next 4 months...lol. Grandma, Grandpa, and an aunt stopped in to check on the session and all I could hear behind me was "awwwww"...lol. I cannot wait to shoot with this little guy again!! He's definitely on my model list if I ever need someone in his age range :o).

Here are two images from the shoot. How cute is he!!

Be Bold, Be Beautiful, Be You!!

I photograph many things, but without a doubt, women are my favorite subjects to photograph. There is something about capturing images of women and showing them just how beautiful they are on the outside as well as the inside. Before my sessions I chat with the ladies, during the session I'm talking and after the session I'm talking. I want to know their stories. I want to make a connection. I want every woman that walks out of my studio to feel good about themselves and to know that I enjoyed the session just as much as they did. I want my sessions to be unique, I want my sessions to be fun, I want my sessions to be eye opening and life changing. I want my sessions to be all about YOU.

Me, Myself, and I

Well you guys know I don't ask a client to do anything I'm not willing to do myself, so here it is. My very own mini beauty shoot. I wasn't feeling very pretty and was coming down with a cold that would keep me in bed the next day but I did it anyway. Emily and her magical skills had me looking pretty even though I didn't feel it at first, but by the end of my mini-session I felt beautiful. These beauty sessions are all about making you FEEL good as well as LOOK good. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!! Call or email me to book your beauty session. Want to book a double session with a friend and save some money in the process? Ask me how...

Here are a few portraits from my session.

A Beautiful Gift.

Portraits make a beautiful gift for that special someone. Imagine a beautiful portrait hanging on the wall being passed down from generation to generation. I get goose bumps just thinking about it. Book your session soon.

Emily G. Makeup Artist Extraordinaire

I can talk for hours about how amazing this woman is. She is one of the reasons my women's beauty sessions are so popular and catching on like wildfire. Emily is going to appear in a magazine article and asked if I could give her some new edgy portraits. How could I resist? So with a collaborative effort we came up with the lighting, poses, and makeup. Emily looks AMAZING don't you think?  Thanks for helping me bring out the inner beauty in each woman I photograph Emily!! Go check out Emily's facebook fan page.

No Cheese Here...

Most of my clients know that I'm not a "say cheese" type of photographer. I love photographing children no matter what their mood is. Most of the time the mood is fun and playful, but then you get the times where they are cautious and sad. My little guy was NOT in the mood for pictures but I took them anyway. As a mom I love these pictures because it reflects his personality. As an artist, I just want to capture a feeling and bring out emotion in my images. I love these so much and they are easily counted among my favorites. So the moral of the story is don't stress if your child isn't in a good mood during a photo session, because I'm sure we can walk away with some sweet little gems you weren't expecting.
