Taria Reed Wedding Photographer: Christina & Brett say I do

Those of you who know me know I don't shoot many weddings, but those I do shoot I put my ALL into it. Christina and Brett had a beautiful beach wedding down at Belmar this weekend. The dresses were a BEAUTIFUL shade of hot pink, the guys wore nice summer light suits with hot pink flowers, the children were gorgeous, the parents were proud, and the weather was lovely.

July rewind...

I hope you all are enjoying your summer so far. I've had a busy summer. There were a few vintage sessions, a newborn or two, a group photo, a couple of birthday boys, a pretty lady, and a wedding....whew!!

I'm looking forward to a break in August to celebrate my 11th wedding anniversary, AJ's (my oldest son) 10th birthday, and Justin's (my youngest son) 3rd birthday. I look back and I can't believe that this much time has passed. There are many things still to come but I just wanted to give you a quick summer rewind from a few sessions I didn't get a chance to blog. Thank you for looking and I can't wait for you to see what I have planned next!!

Beautiful Bride

There is nothing more breathtaking than a beautiful bride who is glowing with anticipation. This lovely lady married her groom this past saturday and I've never seen a more lovely bride. I'm not being biased because she's my sister, she really was radient. Look for yourself!!

Luckily I didn't have to photograph the wedding but I couldn't resist getting some of these special shots. Congratulations to the new Mrs. Edwards!!! I love you sis <3

Cindy & John

I had a great time shooting Cindy & John's wedding today. It was quick, sweet, and to the point. Cindy was a bit camera shy, but she looked awesome in all of the shots.







This is the bride's brother. He was such a great guy. He was so kind to give EVERYONE a hug...lol.



And just when I asked myself what could possibly make their day sweeter? John picked up a microphone and serenaded his lovely bride with a rendition of Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley. Let me just say, that I've been to a ton of events where someone wanted to pick up a mic and sing...John did a FANTASTIC JOB!!!

On Saturday I had the honor of shooting Walter & Michelle's wedding. They had such a fantastic day. The weather was beautiful, the mood was joyous and there was love in the air. Just being around Walter and Michelle is infectious. Their love is apparent from the moment you meet them. Here are a few from their special day. Today I had the honor to second shoot a wedding at Chelsea Pier Sixty with Sarah of Sarah Postma Photography. I had an absolute blast. The pier was absolutely stunning, the lighting in there was a photographers dream and the bride & groom were so in love they just glowed.

Josephine + Benjamin

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing a vow renewal for Josephine & Benjamin. These lovebirds had a great story. They were childhood sweethearts and although they were married they never had the fairytale wedding. It was really an honor to be able to give them the wedding photos they never had. They were so fun and so sweet to work with. I hope to be able to work with them again in the future.

There day turned out fantastic. It was suppose to rain all day and be just blah, but they ended up with a stunning day and great weather. Here are a few from their very special day.
