When my design work meets my photography

It is an amazing feeling to be able to do what I love for a living. I love being a portrait photographer, and I love being able to bring those skills into my cover design work. I've been so lucky to work with some amazing publishers and authors. I get so excited when I'm able to actually photograph my own model to use on the covers. I foresee a lot more of that in my future this year :o) Here are two before & afters from a few weeks ago.

Book Covers

Most of you know that in addition to photography I also design book covers. It's something that I've done for the past year and I absolutely LOVE it. It allows me to be creative in a different way that only compliments my love of photography since my designs are photo based.

Don't worry that my design work will take away from my availability to my portrait clients because that will never be the case. My portrait clients are my main priority now, and always. Besides who needs to sleep?

You can see my covers and my art designs on my other website www.TariaR.com. Please comment on the posts as I would love to hear your opinions. If you know anyone who could use my services (design or photographic) please forward my information to them :o)

Thank you so much for your caring and support over the past years, I honestly appreciate you!!

Sincerely,
Taria

Digital Artwork

OK well I mentioned to you guys that I design book covers for publishers. Well I had a recent client ask me to put my skills to work for him. He purchased a mini session for his girlfriend and wanted me to turn her into an angel. I had a fantastic time during their shoot and I enjoyed turning the beautiful Stephanie in to the angel her boyfriend sees her as. What can I do for you?
