Most of my clients know that I'm not a "say cheese" type of photographer. I love photographing children no matter what their mood is. Most of the time the mood is fun and playful, but then you get the times where they are cautious and sad. My little guy was NOT in the mood for pictures but I took them anyway. As a mom I love these pictures because it reflects his personality. As an artist, I just want to capture a feeling and bring out emotion in my images. I love these so much and they are easily counted among my favorites. So the moral of the story is don't stress if your child isn't in a good mood during a photo session, because I'm sure we can walk away with some sweet little gems you weren't expecting.

Three girls and a baby
Ok so Mr. Matteo isn't exactly a baby, but I the title made me giggle...lol. I first met these four cherubs about three years ago. Mom contacted me to take portraits for her newborn baby boy and I convinced her to get a family portrait done while I was there. WELL, little did I know she had two year old triplets waiting behind the front door...lol. I loved photographing them then and I loved it now. Today the girls are 5yrs old and FULL of spunk. Mr. Matteo has his hands full with his big sisters but he gives them a good run for their money. Alessandra, I owe you a bottle of wine for being super mommy of the decade...lol.

Lucas & Hudson
I look forward to seeing this family every year too. These little balls of energy were so good and listened pretty well dispite honestly not wanting to take photos...lol. Mom and dad were on the ball with the bribes and in the end we got smiles and portraits this family will cherish in the years to come. I can't wait to meet their little girl who's due in April.
My sweet Gabriella
I know you guys remember this beauty. I've photographed Miss Gabriella more times than I can remember and she's only 2 (well almost two). I was thrilled when mom called me for holiday pictures and I was even happier when I got there. Gabriella is HILARIOUS and knows exactly what she wants and doesn't want!! See that beautiful fireplace in the background? When I got there it was ablaze with a lovely fire, but Miss Gabriella deemed it "too hot". Thank goodness for her daddy who was willing to battle the blaze for his little girl and scoop up the burning wood and bring it to the outside fire pit. Such a brave daddy...lol.
Baby Bowevori
This little peanut was SO good during his session. He came in sleeping and pretty much stayed that way with the help of some rocking, holding, and cuddling. I loved having him here, and I can't wait to see him again. Congrats Fiona on a beautiful little boy.
Joseph & Paige
These are two of the cutest (most spirited...lol) children I photograph. I look forward to seeing them and their mom every year. I first photographed them when Joseph was only a few weeks old, and now he's almost two!! I love watching them grow and I can't wait to see them next summer for some fun outdoor photos.

Hudson & Logan
Well my holiday season is slowing down as we get closer and closer to the big day. I had a great time with Logan and Hudson tonight at their house. Mom wasn't sure if both boys would behave, but they did a fantastic job! They even got a treat at the end of the session!!
I'm sure Santa won't mind if they taste tested his plate of cookies....lol

Kingston & Azaria
Two sets of twins in less than a week, this must be my lucky month. I guess I should go play the lottery huh? I met Kingston and Azaria's mommy at the baby fair I did a few weeks ago. She entered my drawing for a free session and viola; she won! Like most mommies she was a bit nervous about how her children would behave, and they were angels. No really, TOTAL ANGELS!! Not one tear, not one fuss, not one whimper, not one drop of unease. Both children were content and happy. I'll take no smiles over no tears any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Here are a few images from this afternoon's session.

Maria, Sophia, and Matteo
This afternoon I met with Maria, Sophia, and Matteo (Oh, and their parents too). I was excited to shoot with them but expected total chaos. I mean Sophia and Maria were only 9mos old and Matteo is 21months. That's THREE children under TWO!! But to my surprise, the session was AWESOME!! Everyone one was under control, no meltdowns, and very little tears. We got three children and two parents photographed in just over two hours. Here are a few from today.

Mr. Austin
Today's playdate was with Austin and his parents. I drove over to their home for some fun holiday pictures. Mr. Austin was a bit cranky but pulled through like a champ. I can't wait to see this little guy when he gets older.

Paige and Joseph!
You may remember these two from the sessions I did with them in the spring. I was so happy Paige and Joseph's mommy called me for their holiday pictures. I love doing what I do, and I understand children. We got a ton of great shots of the children seperate, but it was like they were allergic to eachother and didn't want to take one together...lol. But don't worry, I came through for mom & dad and got someshots of the two of them that would melt any grandmother's heart!!
