A nice surprise

My husband and I purchased our first home this summer. It feels so different to look out my window or patio door and see grass and flowers instead of cigarette butts and concrete. I took my son outside to play yesterday and we came across this lovely treat in our yard. I want to get more pictures next spring when my yard is in full bloom. Since I don't know anything about gardening this should be an interesting adventure.

Soggy Day

It rained last night or early this morning and today I find my self dragging. DH (dear husband) is at a football game so it's just me and my little boy hanging out today. I think we played with every toy he owns in a matter of 3hrs...lol. We have now moved on to watching dvd's. I'm so happy he loves The Muppet Show, because it's entertaining for him and me.

I hope to get some shots up later from an August wedding. I'm hope to get more portrait work, but for now my customer base is weddings. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE LOVE shooting weddings, but I'd like to have a well rounded portfolio.

Maya & James 9/14/06

I just finished an album for Maya & James. Their wedding was so nice. Their wedding location provided us with a beautiful backdrop for their pictures. I had such a blast shooting their wedding and being apart of their special day I just had to share their album with you. I always love hearing feedback, so don't be shy!!

I'm so proud

Well today my husband showed me his finished book. I'm so proud of him. He is an excellent motivational speaker and I know his first book is just the tip of the iceburg for him. He doesn't have a website just yet, but when it's up and running I'll be sure to post it for you to check out.

If it weren't for him I wouldn't be blogging to you or have my own photography company.

This is what I hope to be the first of MANY blogs about what's going on in my business and my life. On August 25th I shot my 4th wedding. I had a great time and it was in a beautiful country club in PA. The bride was beaming and the groom was all smiles. Take a look at this rough copy of their album.
