Mr. Jaiden and his mommy came to visit me at my studio today. This little prince was such a dream. He slept through the entire session only waking up for a few minutes at the end. As long as I kept him toasty he was happy to sleep the day away. He did manage to "christen" two of my blankets, but given my track record, I think I made out good....lol.

Baby Isabella take 2
Often times newborns just don't want to cooperate during a photo session. If mom & dad don't live too far from my studio I usually offer a complimentary 2nd day shoot at no charge. My goal is to capture a good variety of images, but if baby doesn't want to, then there's nothing we can do but wait her/him out. Usually the 2nd day session yields the images we want.
Little Isabella was no exception to the rule...lol. This time around mom and dad came to my studio and we were able to get those fun shots I can't get by going on location (mostly because I just have way too much stuff...lol)
Here are three images from today's 2nd day shoot.

Baby Isabella
I love it when I get an email that starts out "Taria the baby was born today, we'll be home in 2 days. When can you fit us in for newborn pictures?" This little angel was about 5 days old and as adorable as can be. She was such a good little pumpkin. She tried to stay awake but once I got her she was out for the count...lol.
Miss Leah
Yesterday I met with Miss Leah and her parents at their home in NY. Miss Leah was such a sweet little angel who was fascinated with my lights...lol. She had such a great time playing with all my "toys" that she totally ignored me...lol. We got some really great images and I can't wait to finish going through her session. Here is a sneak peek from the afternoon.

Miss Gretchen's Christening Portraits
You may remember this little princess from her newborn session back in November. So when her mommy called me to ask if I could take her christening portraits of course I said yes. She looked so amazing in her dress. Her mommy told me that it was her grandmother's dress. I love that I was able to give her heirloom portraits while Miss Gretchen wore an actual family heirloom. I can't wait to finish proofing this session, she looked so beautiful.

Baby Joseph
It's great to start the new year off with a beautiful little boy. I tend to shoot a lot of little girls (which I love!!) but it's always a treat when I get a little boy. This little guy's mommy was referred to me by another mommy of a little prince I had the honor of photographing this holiday. Here are a few sneak peeks from the session.

Gabriella is 1yr old (almost)
I met Gabriella when her mommy contacted me to do her maternity pictures. Due to mommy getting sick we never got around to doing them, so we scheduled to do 3month pictures instead. They immediately signed up for my baby plan and I've seen them every three months and Christmas. I'm so sad that our time is done. I really did look forward to seeing this happy girl and her amazing mommy, talk about quality people. Here are a few peeks from Miss Gabriella's 1st birthday session. We decided to do an alphabet book to help her learn her ABC's and of course we had to do a cake smash!!
I can't wait to see Miss Gabriella for spring/summer pictures.

Baby Juliana
Yes, I believe all of the babies and children I photograph are adorable beyond words, and Little Miss Juliana is no exception. This little angel was an an absolute doll. No really, she reminded me of a porcelain doll. I rarely get a 5month old that will fall asleep during a session but this little one knocked out for about 15mins and we got some really sweet shots of her. I go into every session with the goal of making it hard for mom and dad to narrow the picture choices down, and from the email I got from mom this morning; MISSION ACCOMPLISHED....lol. Enjoy a few from the session.
