Vincent is a big boy now!!

OK so Mr. Vincent isn't just one, he's 14mos old. Either way we had a great time pretending he was turning one...lol. Vincent was SUCH a good boy during his 1yr portrait session. Even though it was late, and he was hungry, and he got a few shots from the doctor that day, he still delivered some amazing smiles.

Tommy is ONE!!

How many times have you heard me say how much I love watching "my" babies grow up? The last time I saw Tommy his mommy and I stuffed him into a gift box and took holiday portraits with his big brother. Now look at this handsome little guy. Even though he wasn't feeling all that great during his session we still had LOTS of fun together. I can't wait to see him and his family again.

The McGhee Family

About three or four years ago I got a call from a very nice lady who wanted to know about my portraits. She told me horror stories about her experiences with chain photography studios. She liked the fact that I promised never to rush a session, I guaranteed to get great images and even offered to reschedule when her daughter (2yrs old at the time) just didn't want anything to do with portraits. My mission was to give her awesome service and quality products to erase the experience of those chain stores.

Fast forward to early October. I get a call from the same wonderful lady who said that she and her husband are celebrating their anniversary and wanted a large wall portrait with their daughter to display at the party. She said she wouldn't trust anyone else with this very special photo but me and my heart just swelled.

Mission accomplished!!

Birthday Boy!!

I remember visiting this family when their little girl just turned one. I was thrilled to pieces when mom called to schedule a 1yr birthday session for their new addition. HOW CUTE ARE THEY!!!!

Asbury Park Zombie Walk 2012

I had a great time today at the zombie walk in Asbury Park, NJ. Every year I hear about it and I want to go but I never get a chance to do it. This year my friend reminded me about it in time for me to go. I didn't know what to expect, but I loved it. I'm so excited for next years walk!! Here are a few pics from my night with the living dead...lol.

GRETCHEN IS TWO!!

Ok I may be yelling a bit in my header but I am so excited about this little girl. She is so stinking cute and is honestly a ray of sunshine. I wasn't the only one who adored her, my 3yr old son Justin took a liking to her and after our session those two had a mini-playdate. I think he's in love...lol.

Sara came over for a beauty shoot and we had a wonderful time. The very talented Emily G provided her amazing makeup and hair skills to make the shoot even more glamourous. I loved going through Sara's images. She looked STUNNING!!!

Book Covers

Most of you know that in addition to photography I also design book covers. It's something that I've done for the past year and I absolutely LOVE it. It allows me to be creative in a different way that only compliments my love of photography since my designs are photo based.

Don't worry that my design work will take away from my availability to my portrait clients because that will never be the case. My portrait clients are my main priority now, and always. Besides who needs to sleep?

July rewind...

I hope you all are enjoying your summer so far. I've had a busy summer. There were a few vintage sessions, a newborn or two, a group photo, a couple of birthday boys, a pretty lady, and a wedding....whew!!

I'm looking forward to a break in August to celebrate my 11th wedding anniversary, AJ's (my oldest son) 10th birthday, and Justin's (my youngest son) 3rd birthday. I look back and I can't believe that this much time has passed. There are many things still to come but I just wanted to give you a quick summer rewind from a few sessions I didn't get a chance to blog. Thank you for looking and I can't wait for you to see what I have planned next!!
