Maria, Sophia, and Matteo

This afternoon I met with Maria, Sophia, and Matteo (Oh, and their parents too). I was excited to shoot with them but expected total chaos. I mean Sophia and Maria were only 9mos old and Matteo is 21months. That's THREE children under TWO!! But to my surprise, the session was AWESOME!! Everyone one was under control, no meltdowns, and very little tears. We got three children and two parents photographed in just over two hours. Here are a few from today.

Mr. Austin

Today's playdate was with Austin and his parents. I drove over to their home for some fun holiday pictures. Mr. Austin was a bit cranky but pulled through like a champ. I can't wait to see this little guy when he gets older.

Little Miss Gretchen

The three things I hear at EVERY child session is this:

1. I don't think I could ever do your job
2. You have the patience of a saint
3. You must really love your job

Well I honestly have to say two and three are totally true...lol. I met Gretchen's mommy a few weeks ago at the Edison It's A Baby expo. We finally got together today for little Gretchen's photo shoot and guess what? Little Gretchen was having none of it...lol. Mommy was worried that we wouldn't get any good images but I assured her that I'll come through and I sure did. Here is one of their family photos and two of "Little Miss Sunshine" ...lol.

And as I was putting this post together, Gretchen's mommy sent me an email saying that she fell asleep in the car and is PASSED OUT. It figures...lol.

Miss Mia

Wow, what are the odds of me photographing two beautiful little girls with the name Mia? Today I met with Mia and her mommy. I had an AWESOME time. Now I know I say all little babies are cute, but look at those cheeks!! I just wanted to eat her up. She was sooooo good, and let us buzz through a few sets before she put her foot down and demanded a nap. We only got a few smiles out of this little beauty, but her serious face is still to die for. She was such a little doll, I can't wait to see her again.

Mi-Be and Gi-Ni

I was so excited when after almost two years of talking on Facebook Jen (aka mommy) and I decided to do a session for her girls. Jen is the talented crafty lady who made the headbands for the fairies in July. I feel like I've been right there with Mia as she grew this first year, and I can't wait to read all about Gianna's life too. Mia was in a bit of a mood, but we were able to get a few. Miss Gianna was an absolute doll! Once I got her to sleep (literally only about 10-15mins) we were able to manipulate and mold her exactly how we wanted her.

**Note to all new mommies, GET NEWBORN PICTURES WITHIN THE FIRST 2wks!! YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT!!** (end of my PSA...lol)

Paige and Joseph!

You may remember these two from the sessions I did with them in the spring. I was so happy Paige and Joseph's mommy called me for their holiday pictures. I love doing what I do, and I understand children. We got a ton of great shots of the children seperate, but it was like they were allergic to eachother and didn't want to take one together...lol. But don't worry, I came through for mom & dad and got someshots of the two of them that would melt any grandmother's heart!!

It's A Baby Expo

This weekend I had the pleasure of being a vendor at the It's A Baby Expo in Edison, NJ. I've never done this type of show before so it was a learning experience. Overall I had an AWESOME time. I got to see what business owners offered as well as lament over all the stuff I wish I had when Justin was a newborn...lol. There was something there for every one's needs. I got to walk around really quick before the show started on Saturday morning and say "Hi' to the other vendors. There were so many great things to look at I wish I took a picture so I could show you.

I'd like to thank all the mommies and daddies who came out and visited my booth. It was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you. Please take the time and browse my blogsite and then head over to my facebook page and fan me to find out the new "magic word".

Here are a couple of pictures of my booth from day 1 and day 2. Next year I know what I'd like to improve upon but I'm still very proud of my company, my work, and my booth.
